1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from The Body Clinic ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Services
The Body Clinic provides professional massage therapy and bodywork services, including but not limited to the Berry Method® of Corrective Massage, lymphatic drainage massage, breast massage (Spurgeon Method®), deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal, and other therapeutic modalities. Our services are performed by licensed massage therapists in the state of Utah. Our services are therapeutic in nature and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed physician or healthcare provider.
3. Appointments & Scheduling
- Appointments can be scheduled online through our website, by phone at (801) 896-7211, or via text message.
- All appointments require accurate contact information and, for new clients, completion of an intake form prior to your first session.
- Appointment times are reserved exclusively for you. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time for check-in.
- Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to respect the schedule of subsequent clients. The full session rate will still apply.
4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- 24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service price.
- No-Show: Failure to show up for a scheduled appointment without notice may result in a charge of the full service price.
- Exceptions: We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
- We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and approved digital payment methods.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The price in effect at the time of booking will be honored for that appointment.
- Gratuities are appreciated but never expected.
6. Memberships
- Membership plans are billed monthly and provide discounted rates on services.
- Memberships require a minimum commitment period as specified at the time of enrollment.
- Unused monthly sessions do not roll over unless specified in your membership plan.
- Membership cancellation requests must be submitted in writing at least 30 days before the next billing cycle.
- Membership benefits are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
7. Gift Certificates
- Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise noted.
- Lost or stolen gift certificates cannot be replaced without proof of purchase.
8. Health & Safety
- Clients are required to disclose all relevant health information on their intake form and inform their therapist of any changes before each session.
- Massage therapy may not be appropriate for certain medical conditions. Your therapist may decline to provide services if they determine it could be harmful.
- If you experience pain or discomfort during a session, please communicate immediately with your therapist so adjustments can be made.
- We maintain a clean, sanitary environment in compliance with Utah Department of Health standards.
9. Consent & Draping
All massage therapy services are performed with professional draping at all times. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered. You have the right to stop or modify the session at any time for any reason. Informed consent is obtained before each session, and specific consent is required for sensitive areas including breast massage. You are never required to disrobe beyond your personal comfort level.
10. Professional Boundaries
The Body Clinic maintains strict professional boundaries. Our therapists are licensed professionals providing therapeutic services only. Any inappropriate behavior, sexual remarks, or requests for services of a sexual nature will result in immediate termination of the session, full charge for the scheduled service, and permanent dismissal as a client. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design, is the property of The Body Clinic and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent. The Body Clinic logo and name are trademarks of The Body Clinic.
12. Limitation of Liability
The Body Clinic and its therapists shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from the use of our services, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. Massage therapy carries inherent risks including but not limited to temporary soreness, bruising, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions. By receiving services, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
13. SMS Messaging Terms & Communication Consent

Program Description
By opting in to The Body Clinic's SMS messaging program, you consent to receive text messages related to your massage therapy appointments and wellness services. Messages may include: appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling notifications, follow-up care instructions, responses to your questions about our services, and occasional wellness tips or promotional offers.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and interactions. Typically, you will receive 2–5 messages per appointment (confirmation, reminder, and follow-up). You may also receive responses when you text us with questions. Promotional messages will not exceed 4 per month.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates will apply to all SMS messages sent to and received from The Body Clinic. The Body Clinic is not responsible for any charges from your wireless provider.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To stop receiving messages, text STOP to our messaging number. You will receive a one-time confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages from The Body Clinic unless you opt back in. Opting out of SMS does not cancel any scheduled appointments.

Supported Carriers
Our SMS messaging program is supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Service availability may vary by carrier and location.
Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to our messaging program (via our website, intake form, or verbal/written consent), you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from The Body Clinic at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any services. You may revoke consent at any time by texting STOP.
In addition to SMS, by providing your contact information you consent to receive communications via phone call or email related to your appointments and services. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us directly.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts located in Weber County, Utah.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
